Accessibility:
Parking is available on the road side by the church and a small amount of parking possible next to the church. A flat gravel path leads to the church with a slight raised beam/lip through main doorway. There is large and open plan layout inside with no pews, but chairs instead. There are steps to alter area. No toilets are on-site.
Brief Description:Dedicated to St John the Baptist and St Mary and St Lawrence, Thaxted parish church was completed in 1510. The church was built in the form of a cathedral and has ancient glass dating back to approximately 1341.
