Brief description
"Our school is a Church in Wales Voluntary Aided Primary School set within the small village of Trelawnyd. Our ethos is centred on the Christian faith and we have close links with members of the Llanasa Parish Church.
Our 2015 Inspection report stated that the school’s current performance is good due to the progress pupils’ make, the skills they develop and their achievement by the time they leave the school. Inspectors also judged the school as ‘a welcoming community with an inclusive ethos where staff value every child.’
Prospects for improvement at the school were judged to be good because the school has purposeful leadership and leaders are responsive to local and national priorities. Inspectors stated that governors have a sound understanding of the school's strengths and areas for development and that the school works well with a good range of partners to improve standards and wellbeing.
We are very proud of our school and look forward to welcoming new pupils and their families. Should you require further information about the school / wish to arrange a visit, please phone us on 01745 570171, or contact Miss Parsons via email: trhead@hwbcymru.net "
