There is a car park with limited spaces behind the centre on Mary Street called ‘John Street Short Stay’ at OSS 81674 with disability spaces. For more information visit https://www.bridgend.gov.uk/residents/roads-transport-and-parking/car-parks/ . There is however plenty of parking in Porthcawl with disability spaces. There are public toilets, with disability toilets accessible with a RADAR key opposite the tourist information centre on John Street. Wheelchair accessible and Guide dogs are welcome.
Brief description
Porthcawl’s Tourist and Information Centre provides not just relevant information, maps, leaflets and brochures for your visit but is also where you can book your accommodation if you are looking to stay. Situated in the town’s Old Police Station which was built in 1877 and housed the town’s police service until 1974, the Tourism and Information Centre also shares the space with Porthcawl Museum and an Art Gallery run by Porthcawl’s Art Society.

Porthcawl Tourist and Information Centre is South from Bridgend via the A48 and A4106, and then North on John Street. It is approximately 7 miles from Bridgend to the centre, which is at OSS 81747.

There is also a Tourist Information point at The Grand Pavilion (OSS 81626, South-West of the centre).
