Accessibility:
The lighthouse itself is not open to the general public, however, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path has various car parks along the route. The coast paths are well maintained gravel and tarmac pathways, but winding, hilly and un-level in places. Guide books available from the National Park will highlight gradient changes in various places. Stiles and gates are found throughout. Dogs welcome on the lead.
Brief Description.Strumblehead Lighthouse stands alone on an islet called St Michael's Island/Ynysmeicl, separated from the mainland. Built in 1908 by Trinity House for the safety of boating traffic between Ireland and Fishguard. It has now been converted to be an unmanned lighthouse so there is no access onto the island.

Transport:
There are two buses from Fishguard, 413 and change onto the 404, then a 0.2 miles walk to reach Strumblehead Lighthouse.
