There are spaces for visitor’s parking near the footpath. There are steps at the entrance of St Nicholas Hospital as well as steps on the path leading up to the Church. There are no accessible toilets.
Brief Description:
St Nicholas Hospital was founded in 1084 as a hospital for people with leprosy. It was gradually turned into an Almshouse, with the disappearance of leprosy from England, and now it serves as a retirement home. The hospital grounds are private but visitors are welcome to walk through, keeping to the footpaths. The interior of the church can be seen by appointment with the Sub Prior.
