Accessibility:

There is designated street parking directly outside of the Cathedral with a pay and display metre in operation. There is a wide pavement leading to the entrance of the Cathedral, with 2 stone steps up into the doorway.


Brief Description:

Opened in 1860, St Marys officially became a Cathedral in 1878. It's spire and bells were added in 1876-1877 designed by R G Wilson.

Directions:

Situated 4.3 miles from Bucksburn via A96. Head S on A96, at roundabout take 3rd exit onto A90. After 0.7 miles take 1st exit onto Rosehill Dr/A9012. Turn right onto Hilton Dr after 0.5 miles. Take 3rdv exit at next roundabout onto Westburn Dr/A978. After 1.4 miles turn right onto Victoria Street/A978, then turn left onto Union St/A9013. After 0.3 miles turn left onto Huntley Street. Cathedral will be on your right hand side. OS NJ 936060.

Buses operate in and around the area with the nearest stop located on Union Street.
