Accessibility

There is disability parking outside the Merrion Square entrance. Both entrances (Merrion Square West & Clare Street, Dublin 2) and all galleries and facilities are wheelchair accessible with wheelchairs available on request. There are toilets for visitors with impaired mobility. Tours are regularly organised for the visually and hearing impaired.  There is a Changing Places facility located at Merrion Square.

Visitors with guide and assistance dogs are welcome in the Gallery

Hearing induction loops are fitted at the information desks, the lecture theatre and Gallery Shop

Please ask for assistance if required, as you may find the doors throughout the Gallery heavy

Brief description

The gallery houses a large collection of Irish and European art from the 14th century onwards with all schools represented. There are regular exhibitions, for which there may be an admission charge, but the general collection has free admission.
