Accessibility:

There is free parking (space for 500 cars) at the rear of the church. There is a step-free entrance through the adjacent building at the back of the church and there is a disability toilet on site (costs EUR0.50). Wheelchair accessibility within the Basilica is excellent; there are ramps and lifts where necessary. The observation deck at the base of its dome is accessible to wheelchairs via a lift.

Brief Description:

The fifth largest church in the world, the Basilica, is an Art Deco monument. It has two museums and you can scale the stairs (or take the lift) to the top of the dome and see the panoramic view of Brussels from the external gallery.
