This site contains some steep and sometimes slippery banks. Its surfaces may also be slippery when wet. There is a car park on site.
Brief description
Built in the early 17th century, this castle has seen the upheavals of the last 400 years first hand. Although it was partially destroyed in a fire, this interesting site is still worth a visit and offers impressive views of Lough Neagh.

Opening Times
Open all year round from dawn to dusk.
Transport
Mountjoy Castle is not easily accessible by public transport; visiting by car or bicycle is recommended.
