Parking at the chapel is limited – parking on the roadside must be taken with care. There is a slight step by the pavement. There is a lych gate and double entrance doors to the chapel. There are no toilets at the chapel.

Carmel Chapel was built by the Wesleyan Methodists in 1875 and designed by Richard Owens of Liverpool.
