"Little Farthingloe Farm was bought by the Richardson family 35 years ago as a collection of Victorian agricultural buildings dating from the late 1800s. The farm shop opened in 1982, the bakery added in 1992 and the butchery in the mid 90s. In 1994 work began to convert the grain store into the restaurant. Many of the wooden conveyor belts that were used to dry the grain remain visible in the barn today."
