Accessibility:

There is no car park at the church and the road alongside is narrow and unsuitable for vehicles to stop. The entrance to the churchyard is through a gateway onto a grassy path. As the church is disused you cannot get to the interior.

Brief Description:

Hodgeston Parish Church is a grade II listed building. It was a 'free chapel' in the Middle Ages – which means that there is no recorded dedication; described in Valor Ecclesiasticus as without lands or house. The vaulted nave is thought to date back to the 13^th century and the chancel is 14^th century. The church was vested with the charity the Friends of Friendless Churches in 2000, who hold a 999-year lease with effect from 17 December 2000.

Hodgeston Parish Church is just off the A4139 in the centre of Hodgeston. Follow the A4139 from Pembroke for about 3 miles, then take a right turn in Hodgeston and the church is a short distance along this road.
