Come and look at our latest exhibitions too, or have a chat about your memories and stories of living, growing up, working and socialising in Chester.
Chester History & Heritage is passionate about Chester’s rich and varied history so visit us and talk to our friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable team of staff and volunteers and go back in time with us!
We have a large number of resources available, including the Cheshire Imagebank. To find out more, visit our collections pages.
We also offer free computer access including ancestry and findmypast library editions. On Tuesdays and Fridays our volunteer family history researchers offer a free service where they can help you trace your ancestors – whether you are a beginner or you have just reached a stumbling block, this service is for you!
