Brief Description:

Located on the banks of the River Suir Grannagh Castle is also known as Granny Castle. It was originally built by the De la Poer family in the mid 13th century. The castle is now in a ruined state with limited access. The ruins are closed to the public, but can be viewed from the roadside.

Situated 3.8 miles NW of Waterford via the R680, R448, left at the roundabout onto the L7526. Then left onto the N24 and Grannagh Castle will be on your right. OS SL 481773
