There is an on-site car park which also has designated wider bays for blue badge parking. The church has a ramped entrance providing wheelchair access. There are toilet facilities, including a wheelchair accessible toilet. There is a hearing induction loop, and large print hymn books and order of services for the visually impaired. Assistance dogs are welcome.

Brief Description:

St Peter’s Church dates back to the 12th century and its records are contained in the chronicles of the nearby remains of Cistercian Meaux Abbey.  This Grade I listed building has been added to and altered over the years but still maintains the character of a mediaeval church.

Directions:

From Hull via Holwell Road (5.9m). Take George Street/A165 then continue on Wincolmlee. Take Bank Side to Ferry Lane/A1165. Follow Holwell Rd, Wawne Rd and Sutton Rd to Main St in East Riding of Yorkshire. Take slight left onto Main Street and your destination will be on the left.

From Beverley via A1035 and Meaux Lane (8.9m). Head northeast on Newbegin toward Lairgate/A164. Take A1035, Meaux Ln and Meaux Rd to Main St. Turn right onto Main St and your destination will be on the left.
