Accessibility:

Cors Caron is an accessible nature reserves. From the car park there is level access into the reserve and the many paths that run in and around it. A board-walk runs through the reserve for some 2 miles in total and is suitable for wheelchair users and people with prams or pushchairs. There are public toilets [including disability] at the reserves new car park.

Brief Description:

At just over two thousand acres, Cors Caron fills the valley of the upper Teifi river between Tregaron and Pontrhydfendigaid.

Directions:

Tregaron is approx. 19 miles SE of Aberystwyth via the A487. After just over 3 miles follow the A485 to Tregaron. The Nature Reserve is just North of Tregaron. The main access to the reserve is from the new car park on the B4343. OS- SN 690642.

Although there are no places to eat here, there is a variety of places to eat and stay in Tregaron. You will find shops, pubs and cafes here. It is a great base from which to explore the Cambrian Mountains.
