The church is on a hill top sight. There is parking at lych gate. There is a climb up a hill to the church, which can’t be avoided. There are steps from the entrance gate. There are no toilets at the church.

St Michael's Church dates mainly from the 14th Century, with restoration work carried out in the 1800s. The original tower collapsed in the 19th century and bells, which date from 1661 and 1664, were re-hung in their present position in 1936.
