"Toilets: disabled and baby change facilities available at the coffee shop.

Approximately 50% of the Garden is accessible to disabled visitors, some of the gravel paths are difficult to negotiate. There is ramp access to the coffee shop."

Parking: Designated parking is available in the first row of the main car park 50 metres from the Gardens entrance.

Buying Tickets / Entering the Gardens: Those who are able to show documentary identification of disability (i.e. blue / orange badge or similar) will be able to take a carer in free of charge.

Wheelchairs and scooters are not available for hire.

Toilets are located for visitors with disabilities to the rear of the coffee shop at the entrance.

Carers:  One companion is admitted free of charge per wheelchair user or visually impaired visitor.

Assistance Dogs: Welcomed in all areas. Access to building, coffee shop, gift shop and plant centre – all accessible to manual and electric wheelchairs.

Access to the Gardens: 

The paths at the Gardens are gravel and some areas are very steep due to the natural topography. There is a recommended wheelchair route, 50% of the 30 acre garden is deemed to be accessible by wheelchair."

"The Garden is a mixture of formal and informal flowers, world famous for it’s Camellia groves and magnolias. Noted in Dorset for its Rhododendron and Hydrangea collections and the charming Victorian Garden.

Facilities include the coffee shop, a quality gift shop and a fantastic plant centre where many of the flowers grown in the Garden can be purchased.

The Garden Pavilion is a superb wedding venue and is fully licensed.

Don’t miss stunning views of the Dorset Jurassic Coast from the viewpoint at the top of the Magnolia Walk.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome throughout the Garden, as well as outside and inside the coffee shop."
